This website, dockanddeck.com, is run by DOCK&DECK, 12744 Kingston Pike, Suite 107, Knoxville, TN 37934. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means DOCK&DECK.

This policy explains what information the website collects, why, who helps us run it, and the choices you have.

When you fill out our contact form, we receive what you type in it:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your lake or location, if you add it
• The project types you select
• Your message, if you write one

If you use the live chat, we receive the messages you send and anything you choose to share there, such as your name or email address. If you call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and what you tell us.

We use this information to reply to you, talk through your project, set up a site visit, and prepare quotes, plans or permit paperwork you ask us for.

Like most websites, ours uses a few outside services that collect some information automatically when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you to us, and general location based on your IP address. Some of these services use cookies or similar technology.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google). Shows us how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us.
• Meta Pixel (Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). Helps us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, and can be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
• Tawk.to live chat. Runs the chat window on the site. It loads after you start using the page (or after a few seconds) and may set cookies to remember your chat.
• Vercel. Hosts the website. Like any web host, its servers process technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• OpenFreeMap. Supplies the map on our contact page. Your browser requests the map images from its servers when the map loads.

When you send the contact form successfully, the site tells Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel that an inquiry was sent and which project types were selected. It does not send them your name, phone number, email address or message.

Our contact form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes your form entries to us by email. If the form can’t be sent that way, your device may open your email app with a message addressed to us instead.

We don’t sell the contact details you give us. We share information only with the service providers listed above that help us run the website, deliver your messages and measure our advertising, or when the law requires it. Each of those companies handles information under its own privacy policy.

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though the chat may not remember you.
• Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• You can manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
• You can ask us what contact information we have from you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@dockanddeck.com or calling 865-765-DOCK (3625).

We keep inquiry emails, chat messages and project records for as long as we need them to work with you and for our normal business records. Analytics and advertising services keep their data according to their own settings and policies.

This website is meant for adults planning projects for their homes. It is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Our site links to other websites, such as Tennessee Pool & Spa, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and our product partners. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

If we change how the website collects or uses information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
