Dock Builder in Louisville, TN
Louisville sits on the south shore of Fort Loudoun Lake in Blount County, between Knoxville and Maryville. Its shoreline is a mix of established lake homes, newer communities like Lowe’s Ferry, and long coves off the main channel.
It is one of the areas where we work most often. We design docks around each lot’s depth, slope and exposure to the channel, build them with our own crew and barge-mounted equipment, and handle the TVA permit at no charge.
“Despite the TVA limitations, Jason found a way to go above and beyond for us. We couldn’t be more pleased with our dock.”
Questions
Do I need a permit to build a dock on Fort Loudoun Lake?
Yes. Boat docks and shoreline work on Fort Loudoun Lake need a TVA Section 26a permit before construction starts. We prepare and submit the application for you at no charge; the only cost is TVA’s own application fee.
