Boat Dock Construction

Marine structures designed for the way you use the water — from shoreline access to covered slips and lifts.

Every lake lot has its own shoreline, water depth, and permitting path. We design boat docks that fit your property and how you actually live on the water — walking, seating, storage, and boat access working as one system.

We handle the structural work that keeps your dock solid for years to come. Covered slips, open lounges, rope or cable railings, and composite decking are all part of the conversation.

TVA Permit Paperwork at No Charge

We prepare and submit your TVA permit paperwork at no charge. You pay TVA’s application fee.

Before a dock or shoreline project can be built on a TVA lake, it needs a Section 26a permit. The paperwork takes time to get right, so we prepare it and submit it for you.

How it works

  1. 01We gather the details of your dock or shoreline project.
  2. 02We prepare and submit your Section 26a application.
  3. 03We answer TVA’s questions and keep you updated.

Shoreline Stabilization

Rip rap and river rock shoreline stabilization that stops erosion and protects your lakefront.

Wakes from passing boats wear away an unprotected bank a little more every season. We install rip rap and river rock along the waterline to stop erosion and keep your shoreline and yard where they belong, on Fort Loudoun, Tellico and Watts Bar lakes.

Shoreline work on a TVA lake needs a Section 26a permit, and we apply for it for you, so the project goes from plan to finished bank with one team.

Pile Driving

Pilings are the foundation of your dock — and a great dock starts with a foundation done right.

Every dock depends on what sits beneath the waterline. We install poles and pilings with modern, capable equipment chosen for East Tennessee lakes — so the structure you see above the water is carried by work you can trust below it.

We handle the foundation and the structure above it. The work is performed by our own employees on company-owned equipment — not handed off to subcontractors — so quality, timing, and accountability stay with DOCK&DECK from the first set to the finished foundation.

Storm & Debris Cleanup

When a storm drops trees into the lake — or onto your boat dock — we have the equipment and the people ready to clean it up.

Fallen trees and dock debris can crush slips, block access, and leave a shoreline unsafe. DOCK&DECK handles fallen tree removal and dock debris removal with company-owned barges, excavators, and our own crew — the same team that builds on these waters every day.

After the debris is cleared, we can repair or rebuild what the storm took — from damaged decking and pilings to a full dock restoration — so you get back on the water with a structure built to last.

Decks

Elevated outdoor rooms built for gathering — clean lines, durable materials, and details that feel intentional.

A deck should feel like an extension of your home, not an afterthought. We plan layout, railing, lighting, and transitions so the space invites everyday use as much as weekend entertaining.

Composite and hardwood options, privacy screens, stairs, and multi-level designs help you get the most from your lot — whether you overlook the lake or the backyard.

Outdoor Living

Lounges, kitchens and covered spaces that turn a backyard into a place you never want to leave.

We help you think through how people move through the space — seating, shade, cooking and views that feel cohesive instead of pieced together — and, on lake lots, down to the water.

From covered pavilions and outdoor kitchens to patios and walkways, the goal is a space you can step into every day.

Pools

Pools and water features designed for the way you live at home.

A pool should feel like part of your property, not an add-on. We plan the materials, sightlines and circulation so it fits the home and the space around it.

Pools are built by Tennessee Pool & Spa, our pool division — same team, same standards.
